The granting of tax approval to pensions, pension schemes and personal pension plans in Guernsey is the responsibility of the Director of Income Tax in Guernsey under the Income Tax (Guernsey) Law 1975, as amended, and, to maintain that approval, the Guernsey Administrator of Income Tax retains a supervisory role.
